“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is in him” (Jeremiah 17:7).
Our Catholic Appeal (OCA) is an annual opportunity for every member of our faith family to support the life-changing work and ministries of the Diocese of Orlando. Gifts to Our Catholic Appeal fund a variety of ministries that serve our nine counties in ways that no parish could alone. Annual gifts to Our Catholic Appeal provide essential funding to ministries that benefit every Catholic parish, school, and family in Central Florida. This funding provides critical support for our seminarians and retired priests, tuition assistance, health and housing care to people in need, faith programs for children, families, and adults, assistance for migrant workers, the disabled, and outreach programs such as Catholic Charities of Central Florida.
“Trusting the Lord means accepting what is placed before us as a gift from God and praising God, prospering what we have been given as blessing. We can trust that God’s strength will make up for whatever in us is lacking. Trust in the Lord! We delight in the Law of the Lord. I rejoice in your faithfulness and thank you for your blessing through a gift to Our Catholic Appeal. May the kingdom of God be our blessing.”
Bishop John Noonan, OCA 2022
At St. Ann Parish, it has always been a tradition to give joy and to support our Bishop and diocese through Our Catholic Appeal with the best disposition. We are consistently achieving 100% percent of our prior assessments. We start the 2022 campaign, trusting the Lord that we can continue bringing the Gospel to those who are most in need. As Catholics, our calling is to bring charity in our hearts, which is just one way our diocese makes us all part of that mission.
For the 2022 campaign, St. Ann Parish has received an assessment of $133,625. It is important to make it clear that together, as family, we can achieve this goal. Most of the funds collected will be used for the expansion of diocesan and social projects conducted by the Church in central Florida for the good of God's people.
“As the objects of God’s love, men and women become subjects of charity. They are called to make themselves instruments of grace, to pour forth God’s charity, and to weave networks of charity.” Caritas en Veritate, Benedict XVI (2009)
Remember Lord your Church spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity.
Thank you, Dr. Dan Renuart, for your OCA Presentation!
Although the Commitment Weekend for Our Catholic Appeal Year 2022 campaign has ended, we would like to encourage all parishioners to participate in this year's parish pledge. We want to thank all those who have already made their commitment and those who plan to in the future.
If you need guidance with completing your pledge form, you can call or come to the Parish Office, and we will be happy to assist you. If you need or don't already have an envelope, you may get one at the Parish Office.
We especially want to thank Dr. Dan Renuart
and Jhon C. Daza, who participated and showed their commitment with their presentations last weekend.
Let us remember that as one family,
we trust in the Lord!

Thanks to the Knights of Columbus Councils 7091, 2608, and 10484, the Diocese of Orlando has its first statue of Blessed Michael McGivney, the priest who founded the Knights of Columbus. The statue is housed in a refurbished Prayer Tower at St. Ann Church in Haines City.
The Feast of St. Joseph was terrific! Thanks to all who volunteered! We had so much fun, the food was delicious, and the dancing was great. Fr. Alfonso even joined in. We raised quite a bit for charity! God bless you all!
This shrine was donated entirely by the John XXIII Diocesan Movement, Haines City. Their love and dedication will be forever remembered at
St. Ann Catholic Church.
Thank you to the Diocese of Orlando for featuring our parish on the front page of their website and the Florida Catholic newspaper. We invite you to visit our new "Guadalupe Shrine" located on our church campus, a place for prayer and meditation to Jesus through Mary.
