50th Anniversary of St. Ann Church
A large mural behind the altar depicts the Last Supper with images of people representing the parishioners of St. Ann’s around the table. The mural intends to connect the Last Supper with Eucharistic celebrations of today. It is a story of love: we are all one in Christ, the Lord.
Represented in the mural is the love of family in the form of husband and wife, and parents with children.
The designer of this and some other works in the church was Jose Aznar Ibanez. The mural was created using the pyrographic technique in which images are burned into the wood.
